Open Water Certification
You’ll learn fundamentals of scuba diving, including dive equipment and techniques. You will also earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification that is recognized worldwide. You earn this rating by completing five pool dives and knowledge development sessions and by making four open water (ocean or lake) dives.

As a certified PADI Open Water Diver you have the freedom to dive with a buddy independent of a professional.

Virtually anyone who is in good health, reasonably fit, and comfortable in the water can earn a PADI Open Water Diver certification.

Adventure Diver
Want to take your diving to the next level? The Adventure Diver program is the perfect opportunity to gain additional experience and skills under the guidance of a PADI professional.

If you're 15 or older, and a PADI Open Water Diver or equivalent, then you're ready for the Adventure Diver program.

PADI's Adventures In Diving program has something for everyone. This inwater, performance-based program includes dives from the following:

Advanced Open Water Certification
After your Open Water Certified, you are eligible to seek an advanced certification.  You'll learn more about the safety, physics and physiology and the dive tables. 

Complete the Deep and Underwater Navigation Adventure Dives and three additional Adventure Dives (five total) and earn a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification.

Nitrox (Enriched Air)
You'll learn maximum operating depths, gas analyzing, the benefits of longer bottom times and shorter surface intervals than diving on just air. Additionally, you'll get to go on two training dives during the program.

To enter the program, you’ll need to be 15 or older, a PADI Open Water Diver (or equivalent).

Rescue Diver
The PADI Rescue Diver program develops your knowledge and skills so you can effectively perform diver assists and rescues, manage diving accident situations and render first aid. The program is an important step in expanding your knowledge and experience as a diver.

To get into the PADI Rescue Diver program, you’ll need to be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver (or equivalent)and must be at least 15 years old.

Master Scuba Diver
Reach for the top of your sport -- the diver level unrivaled in the recreational ranks: PADI Master Scuba Diver. This certification denotes that you've reached the highest recreational diver level in the PADI System of diver education.

To put yourself on top and reach the PADI Master Scuba Diver level you need to be at least 15 years of age and have completed:

PADI Open Water Diver, or have a qualifying certification from another training organization

PADI Advanced Open Water Diver, or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.

PADI Rescue Diver, or have a qualifying certification from another training organization.

50 logged dives.

Five PADI Specialty certifications.

Divemaster
As you may know, many PADI Divemasters go on to become PADI Instructors. So, the training and experience you gain through the PADI Divemaster program helps shape your abilities and attitude toward becoming a professional level diving educator..

To qualify for PADI Divemaster training, you'll need to:

Be certified as a PADI Advanced Open Water Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another training organization.

Be certified as a PADI Rescue Diver or hold a qualifying certification from another training organization.

Have logged a minimum of 20 open water dives prior to entry into PADI Divemaster training, and completed and logged a minimum of 60 open water dives with experience in deep and navigation prior to certification as a PADI Divemaster.

Be at least 18 years old.

Be in good physical condition for diving and submit a medical exam signed by a physician prior to any in-water activities.

At the time of certification, have current training in CPR. (Current means that the CPR training has not expired as defined by the CPR training organization.)

At the time of certification, have current training in First Aid.
(If the candidate does not hold a PADI Rescue Diver certification, he must have first aid training that has not expired as defined by the first aid training organization.)

Practical Application
This involves training activities using various structured training sessions, simulated scenarios and internship sessions with actual PADI programs. These training sessions enable you to gain practical experience as an instructional assistant and a supervisor of open water diving activities, both as a coordinator and as an underwater guide.
